LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE

Adult therapy group for those who are “stuck” and who feel there is more out there for them but don’t know what, where to start or that they can’t.  This group will help you to define your dreams and goals, explore obstacles to living out those dreams, recognize self defeating thought patterns, fears and apprehensions which work against self-fulfillment and, learn how to think differently and take those very necessary risks.

 WHY DO I KEEP REPEATING MYSELF?

Adult therapy group for those interested in exploring the origins and dynamics of repetitive relationship patterns which are no longer useful and finding new ways to alter those patterns.  Repetitive patterns usually are indicative of unfinished business.

 PROBLEM-SOLVING THROUGH PARENTHOOD

For parents who wish to develop a clear and consistent parenting strategy in navigating through the developmental stages of their children.  Members will learn to identify their own developmental issues of adulthood and those unresolved issues from the past and to separate them from those of their children and to increase effectiveness of parenting decisions and communication.

 MOTHER-TEENAGE DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP GROUP

3 Mother-daughter dyads meet to work on increasing understanding of each other’s experience of adolescence and the on-going process of separation-individuation for both 

 FATHER-TEENAGE SON RELATIONSHIP GROUP

3 Father-son dyads meet to work on increasing understanding of each other’s experience of adolescence and the on-going process of separation-individuation for both 

 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE TEENS

Based on the book, “7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, a support group for bright, verbal teens who have the potential and the desire to succeed but who have poorly defined goals and planning skills. These are teens that have difficulty knowing where to start and who often give up before reaching their goals.  This group will help teens define who they are, what they want, what they wish to accomplish, develop a roadmap to get there, and the positive thinking skills necessary to anticipate, embrace and overcome challenges and obstacles…all within a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

 ADOLESCENT THERAPY GROUP

A group for teens who could benefit from a supportive group atmosphere in working through the trials and tribulations of these difficult developmental years 

 BEREAVEMENT GROUP FOR ADULTS WHO HAVE LOST PARENTS

To provide education about the grieving process and support during this difficult time
