Welcome to my website! I hope you find it informative and helpful in answering
some questions you may have and learning about my practice.
I am a licensed psychologist in private practice since 1986. My degrees include:
a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University, College of Liberal Arts, an Ed.M. in Counselor Education from Boston University,
School of Education, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann Medical College/Widener University Graduate Institute
of Clinical Psychology. My formal clinical training and theoretical orientation are primarily
psychodynamic but my approach is eclectic - drawing from a variety of therapeutic models including, but not limited to:
Interpersonal, Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Dialectical Behavioral therapies.
In addition to private practice,
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a variety of school and clinical settings: in-patient,
residential treatment, and out-patient. I have also moderated an on-line forum for single mothers. In my quiet
moments, I continue to work on a series of children’s stories: LESSONS OF LOVE© 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2004.
