Dr. Ellis is a licensed
psychologist in private practice since 1986. Her degrees include: a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University,
College of Liberal Arts, an Ed.M. in Counselor Education from Boston University, School of Education, and a Psy.D. in Clinical
Psychology from Hahnemann Medical College/Widener University Graduate Institute of Clinical Psychology.
This
website, currently under construction, was developed to help consumers learn about this practice, about psychotherapy,
and who and how it may help. Included is a consumer section (under construction) to educate visitors about
a number of topics: What is psychotherapy? What happens in a therapy session? How long does therapy last? Are
there any exclusions to confidentiality? Myths and Facts. Best practices and evidence-based treatment. There
